Available for holiday rentals - a newly refurbished cottage sleeping 6 in one double and two twin rooms. The Cottage is located in a small village on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis with a huge number of things to do within a short walk, or drive.

The cottage has a new kitchen with all mod-cons including a microwave and dishwasher and has central heating throughout the ground floor with electric heating in the two upstairs bedrooms. It has been completely refurbished recently and is the perfect location for a family holiday with a sandy beach only a short walk from the front door. One of the best trout lochs on the island is also only a short walk, or drive, from the cottage.

For the sportsman/woman there is an almost infinite variety of trout fishing within a short distance of the cottage and a good range of salmon fishing is also available. Most trout fishing in the area is free of charge and there is also some good quality free salmon/sea trout fishing but in general salmon fishing must be paid for. Stalking and shooting of the highest quality are also available in the area and the number of people travelling to Lewis for sport is increasing rapidly as I suspect word has got out that it is one of the best quality and best value sporting destinations in Europe. The one slight catch is that because the cottage is on a working croft, and among other working crofts, dogs are not allowed at present.
