    Carrying shotgun cartridges

I am going to be doing a couple of rough and walked up shooting days this winter.

Whats the best way of carrying the cartridges. Belt, bag, pockets?

For the number of cartridges I shoot they can be carried in the gun.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Neoprene cartridge belts are comfy, but most shooting jackets or waistcoats have ample room for a box of cartridges in the pocket.

Belt or pockest whichever you find most comfortable. If you are likely to get a chance at duck, carry some non-lead, either in a different pocket or at one end of your belt so you know how to get either type easily. Have fun.

Belt under the jacket so I don't scratch the woodwork, 6 or 8 in the pocket for easy access. Top up the pocket as required.
    works for me.

Depends how many you intend to use! A nice leather cartridge bag for a posh day driven shooting for 300 bird days, small driven days pockets for 50 cartridges and rough walked up days a cartridge belt. Always having steel ones for any ducks and a couple of heavy loads for the odd fox.
