    hi now that afew of you have purchased these what do you think of them max shooting distance mods you have done to them ie dublers etc and are they eney good for senterfire use

    Like it, photon sounds ideal for up to 100 yards. Have you had a go with the forward mounted attachments?

    I'd say the Photon was good to 200 plus using a doubler and T20ir

    Not a fan of front add ons, too much chance of poi change.

    Nice video Marky.

    Photon is fine for centrefire use up to 5000 Joules.

    As for range, with the NM400IR we consistently use the Photon at 150m, although as Marky suggests you can spot further but the detail is not there compared to the likes of the Digisight at extended ranges.

    Up to 100m the Photon is more than adequate and with a good quality illuminator such as the Nightmaster or one of Marky's you can extend this further out to 150, 200m safely.
