water in my t8 mod help please!!!

when out stalking this morning I slipped into a burn and my set up got totally submerged. to say I was raging would be understatement of the year......
thankfully my rifle and scope seem fine but my mod has water trapped in it. have been shaking it all day and only a few drops are coming out each time.
is there a way of stripping it? or any advice on what to do would be much appreciated.

    many thanks
    ally

Dont think they come apart try leaving it on a radiator or use the hair dryer to dry it out !

get a can of wd40 and blast it through from both ends. hold it over the sink or take it outside and shake it like hell! then leave it overnight sat on its rear end on a good pad of kitchen roll. at the next opportunity go and fire half a dozen zero checking rounds through it and job sorted!!

Put your oven on on a low heat and cook it until the water evaporates.

Shake it like hell, take the plastic bush out, stick it in the oven on a low heat for awhile. Couple of blasts with WD40 and job's
    a good 'un.

It should unscrew but you need a broad headed screwdriver or a piece of flat bar the width of the bush.

you don't need to put it in the oven, the wd40 will disperse any moisture inside whilst at the same time cleaning the baffles and helping prevent internal rusting. when you fire a few shots through that will evaporate any excess oil or moisture. best to leave the bus in situe as you might bust it trying to get it out!
