Zeroing 30-06 with and without a moderator!!

Not sure if this is the correct section but am sure the Mods will move it if it is not.
Since retiring I no longer have access to land other than Stalking invites and bought stalking.
I have recently bought another rifle and am having trouble finding anywhere to zero it.
I did consider joining the NRA just to enable me to use the ranges but it seems a bit expensive, plus the travelling involved just to zero a rifle.
Can anybody in the Amesbury, Salisbury area help with a bit of ground, I could pretend I am a gas gun for an hour
I have an open FC and was an RCO so can recognise safe areas to use the rifle.
Reasonable travelling would be acceptable as would a reasonable fee
    Thanks in anticipation.

They love the noise at Lees Eddie..

Your almost guaranteed to see some deer on the range..

Especially when your sat there tucking into your sandwiches

Just like fishing, the minute you go for a pee the float sinks

You are welcome to come to Norfolk and zero on my land and then try it on a cull CWD at no charge, other than your fuel and B & B

    Max,
Thank you for your kind offer but I have been contacted by a local chap and am now fixed for zeroing.
I am amazed at the generosity of the members on this site, I only wish I was in a position to return the favours.
Thanks to al the 'offerers' and thanks to all those contemplating offers.
I am now a very happy chappie and hope to remain so for the forseeable future.

No need for a return favour EMcC, glad to see you have been sorted and hope the new rifle is a tack driver

    CWD

    Hi

Are CWD as illusive as munties ??

I have never seen the former but do have Munties on one of my shoots and they really are so illusive / opportunistic.

    Cheers + ATVB
