    dog friendly accommodation A9

Can anyone recommend a place to stop on the way to Applecross, preferably on the A9, only thing is it will have to be dog friendly. We will only want a quick stop so it doesn't have to be posh.

The Rowan Tree in Kincraig just five miles south of Aviemore on the old A9 and two miles off the new A9. Sometimes they charge a tenner for a dog but ive never been charged in four stays. Got snowed in there for three days and you never seen such welcoming warm owners ever. Breakfast is just awesome.
They will discount generously over the phone.

Just pitch yer tent at Ruthven Castle across from Kingussie. LOL. The dog can have a great run around. Only joking of course but have to agree with the Kingussie area, fantastic place and on yer route.
