Finally worked out how to do this.

Now then, I`m Charlie (yes that is my real name & no my parents didn't name me after a fox). I`m a fulltime gamekeeper on Yorkshire/Derbyshire borders. I love rifle shooting and would love one day to go to Scotland to shoot deer, that would be a dream come true.

Welcome to the site Charlie. I was about to suggest you try a trip on the red hinds in Scotland but the season sits bang in the middle of I imagine your busiest time at work. However, if you could ever sort the time some year, organising hinds should not be too difficult or expensive and should be a great experience. BTW, being called Charlie as a keeper can't be that bad, imagine if you were called Reynard.

It does come at an awkward time of the year, the only realistic chance of a break I get is about march to may. During the shooting season I`m out at least 3 times a week as we have my pheasant shoot plus 2 grouse moors so its a very busy time. I don`t know if there`s many places that cater for a novice deer stalker. I`m an experienced rifle shot and a trip to Scotland to stalk wound be an amazing experience for me. Thank you for the advice, Charlie

    Lucky buggers.

Two good friends of mine have just spent three days stalking Fallow with Creeside Stalking and shot six between them. Sounds like they had a very successful weekend. Does anyone on here know of creeside stalking at all. It's in Dumfries and Galloway somewhere.
