Available: Roe doe culling weekends in Galloway

Roe doe culling weekends for up to six stalkers available in Galloway

We have a lot of Roe deer to cull this year and a lot of ground to cover, so we have decided to offer a number of culling weekends.

  • Stalk from midday on Friday to Sunday last light
  • 7,500 acres of hill, heathland and mixed woodland
  • No trophy fees or shot fees
  • No limit on number of deer shot (we need to cull 40-50, maybe more if planned felling pushed extra deer onto the estate)
  • Level 2 witnessing available at no additional cost
  • Mix of high seats and guided stalking
  • B&B available locally in St John’s Town of Dalry at £40/night
  • Estate rifles available
  • Plenty of support available for new stalkers / beginners.
  • Land cleared for all full-bore sporting calibres.
  • Booking receipt & letter for FEOs if required.

£450 inc’ VAT per stalker per weekend

Available dates: 6[SUP]th[/SUP] to 8[SUP]th[/SUP] December; 17[SUP]th[/SUP] to 19[SUP]th[/SUP] December; 17[SUP]th[/SUP] to 19[SUP]th[/SUP] January; 24[SUP]th[/SUP] to 26[SUP]th[/SUP] January; 21[SUP]st[/SUP] to 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] February with additional dates in March if required to complete the cull.

Guys if time allows (and weather for that matter) there will also be a limited amount of time available to head up to the high ground for a go at the goats.

There are no trophy fees on the nannies and kids for this weekend, but cull billies and trophy billies will be subject to our normal trophy fees of £100 and £250 respectively.

Rgds,

I would, but due to the high winds recently all the leaves have blown off the money tree.

Shame, I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

As regards cost, if this were the usual 3hr outings offered elsewhere, the five of them would cost a very reasonable £72 + VAT each or £24 per hour. Don't blame us for the 20% VAT - it was the Chancellor of the Exchequer's idea, not ours. As we are, in fact, offering you the chance to stalk for the full 24.5 hours of available daylight from midday Friday to last light on Sunday, that's an even more reasonable £14:70 + VAT per hour AND you can shoot as many Roe does as you can find, plus any of the Red hinds currently found on the low ground.
