I like the thing found here

If you click 'OK' for the option endearing called 'Define your own bullit' and enter the BC and bullet-weight, you can then adjust all the relevant parameters by moving the slidy-things, and get the drop, velocity and energy at a given range by moving the slider on the diagram.
It's no substitute for testing on the range before shooting quarry, but it has given good predictions for my loads both stalking, and for target out to 1000yds.

    Download the Hawke program.
It is safe..it is easy to use..it will answer your query and more.
I'm not on commission or anything..it's free and it's good.

Shot it at 200yards & 300yards and I'm sure it will tell you your drop rather than go by a chart get out in the field and get that barrel hot hot hot

The problem with using manufacturers BC figures is that some just out right lie how good their bullets are. So rubbish in and you get rubbish out.

I dont think you can go far wrong with 209 for just about all 150gr 308's at sensible velocities. i.e. 2" high at 100, 0 at 200 and 9" drop at 300.
Below is a link to my website.

Spot on, was going to say exactly the same.

To answer the original question, 1" high at 100 yards will put POI 2" low at 200 yards.
