    Tikka M65 6.5 x 55

Here for sale is my Tikka M65 Hunter in 6.5 x 55, lovely stalking rifle with nice interesting wood. Great solid smooth magnum action which is a popular one for custom builds for those reasons. Looking to get 450 for the rifle only! Would consider selling the Moderator for 250 (under 100 rounds through it so is as good as new,on ticket for 6.5 but proofed up to .308win) if someone wanted the rifle and mod. Otherwise the rifle is threaded in 5/8ths UNF The scope and mounts are not included in the sale i'm afraid. I am selling due to being offered a new rifle which i would be stupid to turn down, so kind of sad to see this one go as its done me well. Have attached some pictures, including a quick group which was shot with factory Federal 140 grain soft point bullets at 100 yards. Happy to RFD at cost.

    Thanks for looking

    Chris

Rifle now sold, thanks for all of the interest.

Re: vortex scope; think this particular model (viper pst 2.5-10 x 44) is great, small and light weight body, 2.5 great for woodland stuff, 10 power and the m-rad reticle combined with the vortex ballistic software great for playing with rangeier stuff. For example did a 100m zero when first got the rifle, chronoed it, straight back to 400m and using the turrets or reticle was hitting a 10" steel plate every time. Not to mention the lifetime warranty which covers accidental damage, they will just replace the scope, no sending off resulting on long waits... So yes, I think it's pretty good.
