    Hello,

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the new Dacia Duster Diesel?

LOL i know it's not a hardcore Landy 90, however it's an option with a long warranty for the wife, and it doesn't seem to get too bad reviews?

my father was actually going to buy one in France. he was standing in the dealership, said to the guy, I'll take this one here, pay you cash/debit card right now. Dealership sales guy says (in french) "oh, if you can come back later that would be great, I'm just about to go on my lunch break"...

needless to say, he didn't come back!...ah, the French

Same gearbox and transmission as the Nissan X Trail,

Goes OK but feels a tad underpowered, soundproofing is notgreat, the radios not marvellous, heating is mediocre.

Getting about 45mpg running around, 55 mpg plus on motorways

    OK off road,

Aren't they made up of Renault and Nissan parts? I know someone who had a test drive and wasn't that impressed.
Like you say quite cheap and long warranty .

I suppose the question for me is how they are going to stand up in the long term, cheap to buy new but I suspect the resale value will be poor, especially if it suffers from early corrosion or parts or reliability fail.

When you think it will probably be used like a mobile skip / butchers bucket / dog kennel, whats not to like at that price ?
