I have one on my TRG, it does work well and you can remove bipod in a couple of seconds which can sometimes be handy if sitting in a restricted highseat and you find its getting in the way! The TRG bipod is amazingly stable to shoot off and grips anywhere, even of slippery stone. On the down side, its noisy to stalk with as it knocks side to side, and its not good to shoot off the bonnet of a veichle as it has very sharp claws on its feet!!

I have one, but not sure that it's Sako - works very well indeed. The lock mechanism is very secure indeed and as long as you put the scope on the same picatinny slots, the return to zero is very good.

PS Have those photos for you if you reply to my PM

You could just go the warne piccatinny and QR route. Save you a bundle and it is a proven solution.
I have the picattiny 20moa and perm rings on mine.
