A very unfortunate accident. We were visiting a deer park when on holiday some years ago and were watching a red stag lying in the corner of an enclosure from a respectful distance when a Chinese family pulled up in their car behind us. They got out of the car and walked towards the stag who was obviously starting to feel trapped as he was in the corner of the field where two deer fences joined. I really had to be quite forceful in persuading them not to approach any closer to the deer, they just weren't aware of how dangerous these powerful animals can be.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Yip when i worked in Canada you see that all the time, they call it a Elk jam, I've watched the Jap & Chinese tourists by the dozen out photographing Elk, Moose and Bears and there guide having a fit trying to get them back on the bus .

Well 8x57 it came from the mail online, now reliability is alway iffy with the mail, I'm surprised there isn't a call to shoot every stag in the area because of it .

They will be asking wee Eck for all the stags in Scotland to be chipped ,lol

They will be added to the dangerous animals act . Lol

Here I thought all wild animals and domesticated farm animal were dangerous. Or is that just me mmmmmmm.

Police will be tied up in knots - the minority group box has been ticked so probably been targeted for full investigation as a potential hate crime

    Truly an unfortunate incident.

I think the Mail is milking the story though and is blatting this persons gender status about in a disgraceful way.

Gender has no relevance yet the first word in the headline is, "Transgender".

No wonder people think so little of tabloid journalists.

Check out who comes near the bottom of the list...
