    FAC application sent to Fettes

    Thats my application sent off to Fettes. Hopefully i'll hear back soon.

    Think mine took around the 5-6 weeks mark from them

    Fettes are usually very good, don`t be afraid to call and ask about its progress either.

    Fettes are very slow at the moment - took 7 weeks for a 1-FOR-1, and that was with frequent calls to check progress. Initial grants are even slower at the moment - probably nearer 9 weeks.

    Really that slow! In the past year I've had four 1 for 1's up here and the slowest has been 5 days! The fastest two!

    Going by previous posts most areas in Scotland have a quick turn round for 1-4-1 requests, seven weeks is a bit excessive especially if you require ammunition for other calibre's during that time.

    Don't know what's happening in Edinburgh.
