what a fantastic dog & friend to the end. Too much to tell and too choked up to put into words. This dog lived at 100 mph to the end. He was just not himself yesterday a bit off you would say, so I took him to the vets this morning and left him for some tests, got a phone call to say he had a tumour on his spleen that was bleeding into his abdomen. Decided to operate but apparently it had spread to his liver etc. the decision was made to let him go.
a best friend truly will be missed
unless you can prove it beyond all reasonable doubt, it wasn't me. If you can prove it then you must be mistaken

I sure know the feeling missing a dear friend/dog.
I been to the vet 3 times with a dog...leaving the vet alone.
But each time....get up and get back Ruth, a 5 yers old lab. is next to my left side.
