+1. These make roe and muntjac go all floppy and fall down.
You can't say muntjac without saying, Mmmmmm.

Hornady do a 87grain soft point, which works well out of my 1-10 twist tikka

I only use Hornady 95 gr SST in my , over 42 gr Vit 160 , at about 2950 , very accurate , little meat damage , good exit and muntjac do not walk away from them , fox do not like them

    Oops, sorry about that.

I share my time between Eire and the US. Love to shoot: pistols, rifles, shotgun, trap/skeet, bow/arrow, long range, hunting, whiskey (just kidding)... You name it, I'll shoot it!

Right now I have my trusty 700 and 10/22 - the Guns that won the west, as we say!

I shoot the 30-06 mainly for deer, targets, and general merriment. I feed the 30-06 in the States handloads and the one in Ireland a steady diet of Nosler, Federal, or Hornady. I basically like the Sierra gamekings, Nosler partions, or berger bullets to fly.

The 30-06 is a bit much for foxes, but she does the trick.

The 10/22 is great for lamping when roasted bunny is on the menu or taking care of mixie outbreaks.
