    what scales do you use for weighing your deer????

    as title lads im after your reccomendtions for a decent set of scales for weighing carcass, the cheap ones ive got are crap

    I bought a 200kg set from cool game, very good and middle of the road price wise around 70 unlike spending 200 on salter scales. Can't fault them.

    How big you need??? Mine are 50kg salter which cover 95% of what I shoot not cheap but good quality

    biggest fallow i shoot are probeley 100 ilbs field dressed max

    We stock the Salter 100kg which retail at just under 70, however our best selling scale are the Akah which we import from Germany, these are a "mid-price point" product at a decent price & better quality than the lower end market offerings.

    Try taking the batteries out when not in use.

    I have ones very similar and have been using the same batteries for the last three or four years.
