Hand gun vote - Daily mail!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-message-field

    An interesting article.
would be good to get some good publicity and some open dialogue on this subject in our favour!

That's it then the UKIP gets my vote. The sooner that the pistol ban is repealed the better.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

This proposal is foolish, pointless and dangerous. UKIP suggest these idiotic ideas just to go against the grain and get press coverage. There is almost no genuine need or reason for hand guns to be owned by members of the public in my opinion.

well I never Willyroe that's fighting talk ..... I enjoyed target shooting and practical pistol when it was legal, and have put 1,000's of rounds through a browning hi power and various smith and wessons ...

I absolutely loved it and miss my hi power even now.

Its sad that as a fellow shooter you hold such strong views against handguns ... the ban was wrong in my opinion and continues to be so.

That's an unfortunate point of view and certainly unhelpful to those who justifiably enjoyed collecting handguns as well as engaging in various sporting disciplines with pistols & revolvers. ATB

But they aren't banned are they, just restricted.
Therefore we need to educate joe public and get them to understand the rules of "good reason" are being relaxed

Pointless ban, it hasn't stopped the deaths from handguns.
Work them hard, treat them like heros.
