    scope help

I have a couple of Simmons scopes, now I have heard the older ones are better than latest ones.
How do you tell which is which
    They are whitetail classic
    3.5x10x40
    1.5x5x20
Also any idea of what they are roughly worth.
    Thanks Al

Hi spoony, have a look on the scope and see if its made in china or philopenes. If there made in the philopenes they'll be decent ones. As for value if there in good nick probably 75 for the wee one and 85 for the big one.

Good scopes bud, one of the best in that price range, not as good as any of the European glass but better than hawke Nikko etc. my dads got one on his 222 an he wouldn't part with it. If you don't need them for your rifles they would make excellent back ups
