    Uig - Isle of Lewis

I've posted versions of these photos before but was having a play with some photo processing tonight and so thought I might as well post them again as the processing is new. I guess most people will not notice that the processing is new but the weather was awful this evening and so I sat by the PC with some nice tea and had a play. As ever the various forms of compression involved in getting them on the internet don't help but hopefully you will enjoy them.

Recently I've been having some Assam smoked oolong, very good indeed.

Some more pictures on a sunny, or rainy perhaps, theme in view of all the bad weather:

Look at all the lovely lochs:

Out on the northern part of the Lewis moor when a few big showers bubbled up and gave me a great double rainbow:

Another few photos of the area - I've been looking through some photos on my hard disk so these ones are a few years old but seeing as I keep digging them out I might as well post them:
    The view:

A change in weather coming in from the Atlantic:

Another view looking into North Harris:

    The hill in the middle:

The view out to sea from Cracabhal:

It's been a couple of years since I made it up to Uig for my annual trip. How I miss it now.

Might have to pull my finger out for that trip.

I was in Uig last October for a few days and hope to get back there at Easter. It's nice to see someone produce pics that do the place justice.

    Beautiful.
