    Decent Bore Guide

The universal bore guide I bought before Xmas has a plastic locking collar and is therefore a p.o.s. and getting sent back.... the collar thread lasted three uses....

Any recommendations for a decent all metal guide? I like the look of the Lucas guides but can't seem to get them in the UK. All metal ideally. It's for a .308 Tikka M65, so any hints on getting a specific Tikka one?

I would second this, these are about 35 but as with most things, you get what you pay for.

I would third it! I have a shooting shed bore guide for a sako, have just brought another sako (smaller action so my existing one won't fit) and I shall definatly get another one for the new rifle, well made and they are nice people to deal with.

You have to order direct, as they are action and calibre/cartridge specific.

    I've used these for years:
ABS-3 - .30-8mm Caliber Adjustable Bore Saver Rod Guide

Works well enough. I get mine from Norman Clark.
