I have bagged a lovely Reeves pheasant on beaters day today and would like to have it stuffed can anyone recommend a good taxidermist who could take care of it for me? I live on the staffordshire cheshire border near congleton. By the way it was a cracking shot
Stan Guffog, Bolton BL1
PM me for his details if you want them, he does it as a hobby so don't think he advertises, he is very good & doesn't charge a fortune either

I have only seen phil leggets work in person but it is truly stunning and would not hesitate to use him, looking on here though there is some good work done by members, atb wayne
Yes, he did a head and shoulder mount of a tidy Muntjac which did not have any faults and was typical of its species.
I had a couple of trips to Africa with him also with him making all our arrangements for the group.
There are many beautiful exhibits at his studio.
Look him up on Google Search.
+1 for phill I've seen lots of his work & it is exemplary his wife dose excellent birds too you would be hard pressed to find anyone better IF HE CAN DO IT as he's extremely busy.
+1 for Phil Leggett - I've only had him do an Arctic char, which was excellent work, but I am sure his birds are to the same standard as his fish and mammals.
Might be a bit far from you, but you will struggle to beat William Hales. He takes his time, but is very good at what he does. http://www.williamhalestaxidermist.co.uk/
Just picked up a roe buck and Billy goat from him this weekend.
