What are we all up to ?

Well I am watching Gordon wack Rudolph while drinking a surprisingly very nice bottle of Merlot from Sainsburys at half price

Fran is busy making mince pies which I am hoping to consume later with a nice glass of port for Chrimbo, well you have to get into the spirit of the occasion ..spirits featuring quite often

What are all you lot upto over the festivities?

Well I had a real nice Christmas present early, I got my wife out of hospital at the weekend; she had been in for 8 weeks with a broken back in two places. I am off work looking after her for 3 weeks, fitting and removing her full body brace two or three times a day and putting her socks on etc. She has got to wear the brace for 6 to 8 weeks then it is physio to build her core muscles up.

Still I have got family up next week, so I will be getting out for a shot or two.

Merry Xmas and here’s looking forward to a better 2010 for us all.

I had to read the first paragraph twice before I realised you'd written 'wack' and therefore weren't actually telling us you were half-cut and watching gay porn involving two chaps called Gordon and Rudolph...

Little wonder, I thought, that poor Fran has retired to the kitchen to weep into her mince pies and wonder where it had all gone so wrong.

Bloody hell kev I thought my time was difficult at the moment having to feed all my animals. Its nothing compared to what you have been doing. I can only hope things get better quickly and you both have a good 2010.

Well i'm supposed to be going to the lake district for new year, after a days game shooting....only problem is we have just been told we may not be able to reach the cottage.....in the middle of no where and lots of snow. Sounds perfect!

So, plenty of snow, a couple of dogs by the log fire...me..the mrs, a couple of close friends, some nice booze, a few birds from the shoot, a haunch from the roe i shot last weekend (the first one!) and a salmon my mate caught a while back.....all adds up to four days of absolute perfection. In fact the only way to make it better would be to get out with rifle/shot gun while we're up there...but you can't always have everything .

    Happy christmas all.

I'm over in Espana visiting my mum for the festive period... I'm here till the 29th (which incidently is my birthday) so when I get home I may visit a few drinking establishments and/or gentlemen's clubs.

I wish you all a merry christmas!

I have just put the motor warmer on the tractor so i can clear the snow that fell last night. Must go out and finish buying the last bits and bobs and try and get a bit of Stilton from somewhere.
Christmas Eve over to Helena and back here for Christmas day. We were going to try and shoot a few pheasants Boxing day but there is quite a lot of snow and the weather forcast says we are due a load on Christmas Day. To much snow to hunt roe with the Teckle but may let the Kopov loose and see if he can find a moose just for training of course. Good thing is I'm of work till the 7th Jan.
