Any one got any once fired nickel 7mm08 cases???

I got a mate to bring me some from the usa and I've reloaded them loads of times just finding a few split necks so I think its time to renew,oh,they do look good also, haha!!!

How many reloads did you get before seeing split necks? Ive not used nickel before, believed it to be harder than the standard brass alloys.

Go with the standard brass cases. You'll save yourself some grief. All I can get for 280 Remington these days is nickle plated stuff. The plating flakes, the cases dull my case trimmer and are not worth the prissy shine.~Muir

There is an addition problem with nickel, the flaking can lead to scratching the interior of the dies which leads to more scratched cases. Save yourself the headache and expense of needing to replace the cases and the dies.
