Thread: Norman Clark 6mmBR single shot F class / benchrest rifle

Norman Clark 6mmBR single shot F class / benchrest rifle

Norman Clark made 6mmBR target rifle.
Musgrave Mauser single shot action, with Pacnor Supermatch stainless target barrel 26" 1:8" twist, with 650 rounds total. Devcon pillar bedded into target stock with adjustable butt pad and Anschutz fore end rail, 20MOA incline match Weaver rail.
2 stage RPA target trigger with adjustable trigger blade.
As you'd expect from a rifle of this pedigree it was fantastically expensive when new, and is incredibly accurate all the way out to 1000 yards which is the furthest I've tried. I'm selling as I'm after a multishot.

    SOLD

Scope, mounts, bubble rail, stand, floor, wall, house, cars outside, passers by and neighbours not included.
    Also Advertised elsewhere.

Thanks Neil. This rifle is crazy accurate, but I have seen a 6mmBR with a magazine, and I just have to have it. I just hope it shoots as well!

Yup, that belongs to a buddy and it is very nice. If I miss out on that one though, I might look for a similar donor to rebarrel.
Bob, I'm using a moderate load of RL17 to drive a 107gn SMK to 2850fps. I could go quite a bit faster but I don't feel the need. It drops 30moa to 1000yards from my 175 yard zero which is a lot less than my 308.

    hi bud

just got mine running last night.

for starters i have just run it with 85gr sierra soft points, and 30 gr of Benchmark, this produced a 5.7/5.8 mm c to c 4 shot group off of some bales of hay, the last shot was pulled due to me moving the bale of hay, the wind was gusting at around 40mph and it was raining just a tad,

    Tikka 595 mckillop built rifle,

can't wait to get out on the charlies and the longer range bunnies,

hope all well with you and this rifle for sale above needs a new home,

    bob.

Unfortunately this has to be withdrawn as the rifle I was to replace it with is now no longer available. If the situation changes then I'll update the thread and all interested parties.
