    New work bench

Built this over the weekend to accomodate my equipment. The press on the left is used exclusively for decapping fired cases. They then go in the tumbler with ceramic and are cleaned for every loading. The press on the right is used for big single-shot cartridges (45-70, 45-100, 50-70 and 50-90) The doubled up powder measures are used for smokeless and BP and the Dillon used for common stuff like 308, 30-06, 270, 223, 45 Colt, 45 ACP, 9mm, 38 Spec.

I think that you may have made a mistake in the way you put that across Maro.
Are you saying that you use one of the Uniflow powder throwers for Black Powder?

It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

Yes, there has never been an incident caused by the fabled static electric detonation.

The danger isn't static but friction.

I should realy have said in my last post that the greater risk is friction and not just static electricity. Static is still a risk but that can be mitigated by adequate grounding.
I think back to my armourer training in the RAF and in particular the instruction we received with regard to the precautions to be taken with black powder. It's far trickier to handle safely than nitro is. I would certainly follow the recommendations that RCBS make when using a Uniflow.
