    Budget Target .308

I'm up for testing out some budget .308 target ammo. Currently using 7.62 GGG Nato Ball FMJ. As it's deer stalking tests and the like I'm doing, accuracy isn't sooooo important, but I'd certainly like to experiment with loads in the sub 70p category and be sub moa.

NB - I shot some Hornady Whitetail Interlock and it was immediately clear it shot better than the GGG, cleaner burn, less recoil, tighter group. But as Hunting Ammo, a bit pricey.

It all depends on what your rifle likes mate but privi match and there other stuff often works very well. A mate of mine uses privi match in his trg and it's sub moa out to 600 so no point reloading!

I think the cheapest round here at present is Top Shot 148gr. (made by S&B). At Danish prices, it works out to about 27.39 for a box of 50.

Try the RWS stuff from the armoury at bisley, 20/20 and it's good to 800m. And, nice brass to boot

German MEN at 45x100 has always worked well for me, as long as your rifle can cope with it, mine and many others are fine, our club rifle choked on it ! we almost had to resort to a lump of wood to get the bolt open and no copper fouling either

Very late to this but Privi 168gr work very well in my RPA. Shot well at 300x 500x and 800x TR. Only 12.50 for 20!
