    223 53gr V-Max

Has anyone loaded these yet with any great success?

I'm looking to try them in my 223 with a bit of N133 underneath them.

I found an old tired thread about these but nothing particularly conclusive!

    1:12 twist Howa 1500.

    Thanks.

26.5 grains of h4895, rem brass and rem 7.5 primers, shoots 1/4" all day at 100 and that was without much faffing about, will fine tune it at some point.

I'm using a Winchester model 70 , originally in 222 but I shot it out and have rebarrelled it in 223 , stainless Armalon bbl 22" Remington or cci , whatever I can get ;))

I currently use 40gr V-Max which are 0.5 MOA, but I'd like to try out to further distances and looking at the BC and their trajectory, they look spot on! I would need to change my scope to and fancy a Vortex Viper PST. Anyone tried these yet?

    Thanks.

Interesting. Changing to CCI BR4's really tightened up my groups.

    Thanks for the info.
