Has anyone loaded these yet with any great success?

I'm looking to try them in my 223 with a bit of N133 underneath them.

I found an old tired thread about these but nothing particularly conclusive!

1:12 twist Howa 1500.

Thanks.

26.5 grains of h4895, rem brass and rem 7.5 primers, shoots 1/4" all day at 100 and that was without much faffing about, will fine tune it at some point.

I'm using a Winchester model 70 , originally in 222 but I shot it out and have rebarrelled it in 223 , stainless Armalon bbl 22" Remington or cci , whatever I can get ;¬))

I currently use 40gr V-Max which are 0.5 MOA, but I'd like to try out to further distances and looking at the BC and their trajectory, they look spot on! I would need to change my scope to and fancy a Vortex Viper PST. Anyone tried these yet?

Thanks.

Ben

See thread on Vortex Viper on Equip/access excellent glass.

Re primers use standard CCI in standard .223 loads however Remmy 7.5's with heavier bullets to prevent cratering.

26.4 grains of h4895 with cci400 primers and lapua match brass. Cases trimmed to 1.750 and an oal of 2.265. Best group to date 0.195 inch for 5 shots. Cannot fault these at all. Better in the wind than the 60 grain vmax and flatter shooting.

I would really be surprised is anyone can tell the difference between a .265 and a .290 BC unless shooting at 400 yds

I use the 52gr AMax with N133, CCI400,
foxes don't know the difference, they are cheaper and postable!

I use these in my 1-12 twist 20 inch howa, 26 gn of benchmark and i get about 3250. Brilliant bullet, nice and flat, point and shoot out to 300. And when i do my part it will shoot 1/2 inch at 200 yards, i have had better but rare lol.
