1LB or there about of Vit N140

    Hi guys,

Still new to reloading and my .308. Now i not going to be shooting all that much and cant bring my self (or realy afford) to by 1kg of N140 at 75 a tube. Im using 150gr bullets which like N140 more than N150.

    So.....

Does anyone have a stock of N140 that they would let me buy a 1lb off. I have a N150 tube and dont mind travling about 50 miles radius of nottingham (or lincoln as i work here)

Or if any one wants to swap 1lb of N150 for N140 i can do that as well

    Many thanks
    Michael

Buying reloading supplies can be a right pain, what with the fact that you can't post things sensibly... I've found an RFD in London who's all out of N140, but hopefully will score me some by next month. It's daft.

Do you know for sure that your rifle likes N140? Chances are it does, but hold off and I'll bring some over. We'll load you a dozen or so with it before you put your hand in your pocket.

You could try TR140 instead. Very similar to N140 but only costs about 50 per kilo. That's the equivalent of 23 per pound

A pound of N140 will only last about 150 rounds, then you will be looking around for more again, and then you may also find a different batch behaves slightly differently.

Dolphin Gun Company usually have it, they are about 20 miles from Lincoln.

I expect they will have other powders too.

Google "tr140 commonside firearms" for plenty of information about it.
