    Bottom centre of the photo. Between the branches on the left and the main tree stump, hiding in the green conifer boughs! ....think these were on the Mail website the other day with the locations ringed!

    Thanks, but it's sort of pointless.

    You'd never see him if you weren't looking for him, and once he'd fired you would be looking for him with every technological means available, even if it was just a pair of binos -unless of course you were wisely keeping your own head down-, so a bunch of low-resolution "Where's Wally?" pictures on a web site don't say much.

    More interesting would be a series of thermal images from hand-helds, AFVs and UAVs - Mr. Sniper might find it harder to hide from them.

    Anyway, who goes sniping on their own these days? Even sniper teams seem to have become a thing of the past, their place taken by infantry sharpshooters protected by their units and other support assets.
