    Hi all

I know its a long shot but does anyone have a 260 crimp die?

If you check the instructions for your seating die, you may find it can be adjusted to crimp. What seating die do you currently have? Regards JCS

You already have the function in the Redding A-Series, but will need to roll-crimp to the existing cannellure ... so you'll probably need Hornady bullets.

If you're after a Lee 'factory-crimp' die these only come with the Pacesetter series. Not popular in .260 Rem, so best of luck.

If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.

I loaded some Hornady 129 gr SPs last night, but I've never felt the need to crimp them. In my opinion, crimping breaks rule 2 of reloading which is to do as little as possible to the brass.

Only reason i am lookinh to crimp is because when i was out stalking last saturday i noticed after a full days walking round that the oal of rounds ib my magazine had been shortened. Ive checked the tension on tuge necks and it is just as toght as the 223 and 308 i load for. I was just thinking of putting a light crimp just to prevent this from happening.ive found a lee factory crimp die on midway for 18 quid plus postage.
