    Early for caterpillars??

    Anyone know what this would become?, third week of February, in very cold temps on a forestry road.

    Possibly a Buff or White Ermine i will stick my neck out on hair arrangement and say Buff.. bring it on and see what it turns into!

    Aah!, Didn't think about fetching it home, I put it back through the verges.

    Could be, very similar in bristle pattern, head colour and length of last set of bristles would tell for sure..
