    Quad Sticks

A guy was selling some on the BDS stand which I thought were excellent quality and were stock steady. Not wishing to spend yet more money as I already have a Stoney Point tripod I stripped the one leg off (the one with the grip) and ordered a bipod in the same make and attached legs together at bottom with O rings, bit of webbing across the two sets of sticks and bingo just as good as BDS mans and of course they are telescopic so adjustable for sitting or standing. Tried them today with the Rimmy and although I was shooting with a strong cross wind was really pleased with the amount of accuracy I had. Even better the third leg has now turned into a monopod for my camera which I needed one anyway. Get canablising and save cash.

If only my wife thought the same, she just thinks TIGHT! However I did lose my job in November and I know she hates me spending money on more shooting crap.

Somewhere I noticed were selling a five legged quinpod. You might try adding your extra leg back on which fixes your elevation.
