hi are any of you lads reloading 60 grain bullets for there 22.250, looking for some pointers as to what powder suits best. rifle is a blaser r93, thanks again

    Reloder 10x or benchmark.

Assuming the the blaser has a 12 twist it should stabilise the 60,s.
    Brian.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......

My R93 in 22.250 is a 14 twist and shoots the 55 gr bullets very well - I am uncertain whether you (with a 14) will be able to stabilize the 60 heads

    You'll be a lucky fellow if a 1 in 14 will shoot a 60gr bullet. Mine won't.

This has come up many times so here's a typical thread on this ....

There's no problem with 60-grain bullets and a 1:14 twist.

They're usually flat-based designs in this particular weight, so only marginally longer than the standard 55's.

I happen to use IMR 3031 and Vit N135, but have used all sorts .... so faster powders work too.
If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.
