heading out with Colin tomorrow for my first feral goat.

been packing and repacking for the last 48 hours.

so, u know i will have forgotten something...

Just remember to go to bed early tonight. I learnt that the only problems with goats is that they really do live in the most inaccessable rugged terrain that they can find. You might get lucky if the weather is rough and they maybe on lower ground. It's good fun though, you'll enjoy it. Look forward to the pics.

Im a St Helens fan so im sure il find something suitable :D

norma... no big hill for me.. I'm on my 3rd knee replacement so unless we go up on a unimog it won't be happening in the 3.5 hours...

I'm up n on the road for 0400 since have got my loopy juice sorted.
 
Have a great time! I have done a load of goat shooting in NZ and its fantastic fun, they certainly are tough buggers!
 
Just remember...if you sneak up on them & get close......they blow raspberries at you. My first time years ago I rolled over & couldn't stop laughing. :rofl: Nearly pi$$ed myself. Good luck & enjoy. ATB

We shot a roe on the way out to look for goats
We got on a group of goats that were well up the hill but were unable to get time to get on the bipod
ended in a bit of a rushed shot off sticks and clean miss ,, still a good morning out tho
