Ebay just removed my .308 reloading dies as they are "illegal"items

Just been notified by ebay that it is illegal to sell any reloading equipment and they removed the item from sale
having spent 20 minutes on live chat to find out why they removed it I was told that they do not allow the sale of reloading equipment
having pointed out that there are 15 items for sale that are reloading dies and the fact that there is a category on ebay.com for "reloading" they cut me off

    anyone else had this happen??

    thanks

Yep - tried selling a mec reloading press.
Had exactly the same thing and the same argument!!
Completley give up on ebay these days.
Thing is I was looking for some reloading dies in .308 last week.
Most people I know now sell on facebook.
You can join groups that are specific to your goods (in the case reloading) and sell direct to other like minded people.
No middle man so everyone wind.

here is one group I know of that has reloading kit for sale.

Like talking with my cat. And he's been dead this past twenty years! eBay don't allow reloading gear to be listed by us "Brits". haven't for a long time. Very annoying but not much really you can do except list with a very short sale period and hope it doesn't get spotted by those with nothing better to do but report items.

As the OP says however it seems that other large volume sellers list reloading stuff and yet never get their items taken down. One rule for them and one rule for us.

Never a problem, just list it in e-bay .com not ebay .co.uk

How do you list in ebay.com when registration with a UK e-mail address stops the process, I know I've tried it!

I used to sell buckets loads of inert bullets and sa80 bayonets maybe 4-5 years ago from 9mm to 50 cal that made me about the same as my full time job wage until the banned all that stuff including cases, cast bullets etc etc. They even pulled of my stripper clips and cast shotgun slugs... so I listed them as 12g catapult slugs cast from the 12g lee shotgun slug mould but they soon nabbed me for that so I ended up stuck with tens of thousands of reloading component cases and bullets that I had been using for the making the inerts, all the 7.62 berdan stuff went to the srappy so I got back a chunk on that. Still got loads of stuff in boxes in the garage too, no where to sell it!
