    Trail cams at maplin

    Just got a text from a guy saying trail cams 79.99 that must be cheap. know nothing more except my chepos from aldi work well

    Unless you need one urgently, I'd wait until Aldi have theirs in again. They're only a tenner more, and hard to better without spending at least twice as much.

    I would actually also agree. I have a couple of those Bresser ones and they appear to be better (eg more mpxls) than these.

    According to the reviews on the Maplin website the Swann cameras have a 3 second trigger time. Having got experience with a Bushnell trail camera, which apparently has a sub 1 second trigger time, I think many things will have gone out of picture by the time the Swann wakes up. It depends upon the speed of the animal that triggers it of course, but something worth bearing in mind as it would be very frustrating to have dozens of photos/videos of nothing.

    I am using two of the swann cameras which i got from maplins at £79.00 with a sd card.

    Very happy with them. Both with photos and video option. I think they are worth the money.
