    Aldi Rope Ratchet

went to aldi this morning found this rope ratchet 3.99.I decided to buy one got it home the rope tlihat came with it is far to short threaded a long length of para cord to it then fastened the hook to it. lifted
up about 50 kilo and it has been hanging there for 5 hours and is still holding i have pulled down on it and the ratchet has not slipped. It seems ideal for lifting roe and fallow does up. light weight and does not take up much room in the roe sack made a gamble to go with it.

says on the packet load capacity 250lb/113kg

If its hit its history / If its missed its a mystery

I also got one this morning.

They have also got one of these in at the moment. ALDI - Heavy Duty Power Puller

This may be useful for those bigger animals too?

Hi, got one too today. Looks ok and did a bit of a test, while waiting for the rain to pass. Thumbs up.

Aldi had these in last year and I bought one, but gave it to my old stalking mentor who had a shoulder injury and his need was greater. I've just asked my good lady to get me another tomorrow. Ideal for a suspended gralloch on a Roe if your doing it for training purposes etc.

do they give any pully/weight advantage or just lock to hold as much as you can lift? Haven't made it to our Aldi's that I've seen yet.

2:1 with a locking mechanism I think. Not seen them so I don't know.

Bought one- and a "Power Puller" on Saturday evening- tried it with a gambrel and am very pleased with the result.
Power puller works well too - once I had worked out how to release the cable!
