Just going to have a go loading .I have some sierra pro hunters 100grns spitzers IMR 4895 anybody had any success with these components??

Yes I use the pro hunters and I'm well pleased with them, but I have no personal experience of that powder though it seems to be a popular choice.

The Prohunter 100gr was my "go to" bullet for .243, pushed along by N160.

So with the help of ms we came up with 33grns of IMR4895 20 tho of lans cci primer 100 grn pro hunters and i am pleased to say that they shot a tight 1 and a bit cm ragged hole .tried them on a roe doe last night and they are bang on ,not to much meat damage witch is important to me as i sell the venison at markets i will ask ms to put some pics up as havent worked out how to do that yet.

Attachment 40055There you go! 4 rounds through the centre and an operator induced error bottom left!
I would normally tweak the seating depth after trying different weights of powder, but we seem to have hit a sweet spot fairly well already! This was full sized brass too, so neck sizing fire formed brass may even improve this alone. Close enough for deer work - Berg can't shoot any better than that anyway!
