    Depends on the size of your reds......? A calf, I have no doubt, probably a hind too, but the type of ground you are on might be another consideration. As for a stag, it would say not, personally, based on the ones I deal with, it doesn't look all that robust, and I wouldn't want to try and get that contraption into some of the places I extract them from......a drag tray and winch line is all I use. Oh, and brute force a lot of sweat and more often than not, a fair bit of swearing too!

    It may well take the weight, but they are far from stable when loaded, I watched somebody dump all
    his kit off one this evening on a very mild slope. Not the first time either, but he won't learn.
