    Sunny Afternoon with different ammo

Been out with the Sako 85 this afternoon with some different ammo,
I have been using Hornady 150 gr ballistic tip sst grouping about 3/4 inch at 100 yards.( not bad for me )
Thought I would try some Federal as I have used them in my 22-250 before and was pleased with the results,
I made my way to the gun shop yesterday and picked up some 150 gr soft point and at 8 a box cheaper than the Hornady I thought bargin .
went down to the field I use for a range set up my target at 100 yds , first group was 5 shots at 100 yds, the first shot was a flyer from me (doh) as the dogs in the back of the truck were moving around and I was leaning on the bonnet, the other 4 shots were a good group of less then 3/4 of an inch about 2 inches high, the second group was at 200 yards and was even better about 1/2 inch group spot on at the right hight , very pleased with the Sako and the Factory Federal ammo.

I shoot Federal 150 grain soft point and I am very pleased with both the accuracy and effective kills I get using them.

I use RWS 100 grain in my Sako 85 and easily get three shot groups of half an inch at 100 yards so I'm happy.
