Kelso Deer Fair - Video Review

Hi all.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Kelso Deer Fair last weekend, it wasn't our first adventure to the fair in Kelso, but it was our first time actually manage to get there and
exhibiting.

Last year as many of you know we got stuck in snow drifts taller than our van, and resulted in Sales Manager Paul having to be towed back home by his mate in a Loadall.

He only got to the shop for food on quad bike over the fields....could have done with those Supatracks we saw at the event.

As we were late booking as were so busy we were "dumped" between the two halls (i jest Brian it was fab) so we had a custom marquee to house us and our night vision tunnel and all our kit.

On the Friday night after set up, braving the winds howling through the marquee with the doors open we had some field meetings with some local estates and a government agency interested in our kit.

After an early night we hit the show first thing and had our heaters on full, but shortly after the show opened the sun came out, and we were even demoing some thermal kit out in the grounds in our work polo shirts.

From the minute the doors opened till late afternoon we were swamped and Paul and Cowan barely had time for their eyes to adjust to daylight as spent most of the day demoing kit in the night vision tunnel.

John from the Stalking Directory popped along to see us "in style" and was great to put a name to the face, top bloke and he even fuelled us with some cake, and lots of banter.

He also drew our competition prize to win a top Pulsar Night Vision device which was won by Mr Gary Gibson.

Saturday night saw us meeting up with Darren from Rovince Tick Clothing for a few beers and a cracking meal in town.

if we thought Saturday was busy, Sunday was amazing, with crowds of people on our stand throughout the day, we really enjoyed speaking to people from every background and every discipline of our sport.

What a fantastic show and a great bunch of people with most of the exhibitors we spoke to having the same opinion and being very friendly.

Thank you very much to Brian and Stevie, you are a credit to the show, and both nice guys also.

Keith from the Night Vision Show which we co run and sponsor came along and did some filming at the event and you can catch up with the footage here.

Roll on the Southern Fair in November,

The Scott Country Team
