    There was a often said joke among some of the old sweats in my army days, If you are looking for troops, look for the cam nets !!
    Post 5 seems to prove that !!

    Quite so, but more the case on training areas, and rear areas, than on ops.

    On exercise -i.e. in the absence of genuine enemy forces- we used actually to make our "hides" prominent on purpose so that friendly forces, especially those that sold bratwurst, could find us easily.
