    Cool Here's one I prepared earlier - my Damascus neck knife

    I don't get to make them as often as I'd like, but when I do, this is what I like to make:

    Nice job. Just commissioned myself a new knife. Waiting for the prototype blank. Looking forward to getting the real thing. What wood are the scales?

    Scales are stabilised Box Elder Burl with my own mosaic pins.

    Blade is low layer count 1085 and L6.

    And yes, it's very, very sharp...

    A lovely uncluttered knife. I like the simplicity while having a degree of style through that lovely blade.

    Looks cracking mate. The box elder is a great product, you can almost look into it and see the the different shapes and colours.

    Looks like a superbly crafted tool. Imo best to get it working asap.
