    finnfire vs Quad

    anyone owned both?
    how different are the actions?

could the stocks be interchanged (even with some work or effort?)

FWIW as far as I can see, the new (2014) Finnfire has a stock and action that are dimensionally identical to the Quad's, the only differences being an all-metal bolt handle and a fixed barrel.

But you're presumably asking about the old Finnfires and the Quad, in which case, I'm afraid I don't know.

I have had both. The Finnfire will accept Quad barrels but thr 17hmr and 22wmr will be single shot only! I currently have a Finnfire in 22lr with a 14" tube and a Finnfire in 17HM2 with a 16" tube. Both are lovely.

the difference is in the action which is stretched in the ejection port so you might be able to modify a Finnfire stock to accept a Quad action but not the other way round.

photos of my 2 are in my profile BTW
