    One for the red deer farmers .

    Any one got any red calf’s born yet?

    Sure as eggs are eggs my eldest hind will be the first of my herd to drop and that will be a week tomorrow ! She always drops on bank holiday monday, twin stag calves.

    I was a Houghton Hall, in Norfolk on Saturday and there were a number there including at least one born that morning.

    23 or 24 so far that I know for sure, but could be more. First was May 2nd this year; April 24th last year. That's from 157 hinds put to the stag so lots more hopefully to come. Good luck with yours.
