I noticed it`s available at 0.99 p/ltr in Aldi , 30+p better than the pumps , how does your mpg compare with diesel ?

    25l drum unused 14 IIRC

Used oil is around 30-50P per litre.
Hence why making bio out of used is far cheaper than just burning strait veg.
MPG wise, expect a 15% loss.

    I wish it was Ed!
Last time I was in there it was 90ppl.
I suppose it's still cheap when you add in about 12ppl to process it.

You'll be lucky - more like 60p per litre!
Makro sells it at around 78p per liter in 20ltr drums - goes well in my Shogun mixed with 10% of white spirit.

Yep, that's what I use for the Suzi Jeep, fill her up add 2 gallon of petrol and away she goes. Rather pay 90p a lt than 1.40 odd. I don't need to process it either.

Might give the white spirit a whirl...do you notice any difference?

Yea I use some fresh but was given a free system a couple of weeks ago so was looking for some old used stuff.

I just acquired 200ltr of new cooking oil for my Disco at 55ppl.
I use it 50/50 with diesel and now problems - one happy bunny
Unfortunately don't know how well it goes in other engines.

Costco in Glasgow do fresh oil at 14.99 for 20ltr plastic container
