I must have tried every sharpening method/system going including expensive Diafolds and waterstones. This is the one that I now use in combination with a finishing strop. I still also use a diamond steel when doing a prolonged butchery or gralloching session.

When I move house I am going to buy a second one and screw it down to my reloading bench so that it is rock solid and also to prevent the slight chance of cutting the back of your left hand due to the lack of an inbuilt guard and me being clumsy!

I made a second base for mine from some old IKEA beach worktop for the same safety reasons. I got the drill angles right by canting the table on my pillar drill. Alternatively just drill the holes directly into your reloding bench!
