It will be my fox and small deer rifle, I went on a shoping spree, for various type of ammunition, to find out what this rifle like to cycle.

    Makers of Ammunition selected were:

Tried some PPUs that a friend generously donated to me, it was a bit of a disaster, hitting the paper all over the place, then I switched to the Geco, with very little hope, thinking another cheap round, they will hit the paper all over the place again, but to my surprise, they were grouping in a inch circle, to make sure I did use all the box of 20 .....hey its my new toy, got to play with it a little.
I was shooting 3 at the time and resting/cooling the barrel for a little while, it was amazing to see, what a huge difference in accuracy, a hot barrel to a cold barrel it makes, a difference of 3-4 inches of the grouping.

I was really happy with my new rifle and happier that it likes Gecos 105gr, so I don't have to buy Federal for those prices 40 per box

What to do with the rest of the unopened boxes of ammunition? The shop, where I bought the Gecos, doesn't stock the other makes...tho

    All the Best

That looks like a very tidy rig - I do like Tikkas. That should give you many hours of enjoyment. P.S. I bet it loves the Hornady!
    Cheers,

They don't group well in my .243 but are very good in my .308, seem to kill well with little meat damage. My .243 (tikka t3) loves hornady SST 95gn. They certainly drop deer effectively as well as grouping well in my rifle.
